Checkout and payment security

Payment Policy

This policy explains how payment information, authorization, and checkout confirmation are handled for each Cuerzo order.

Clear order total

Your product total, delivery details, discounts, currency, and taxes are reviewed before you place the order.

Server-side confirmation

An order is not payment-complete until the server receives a verified payment event.

Checkout is authoritative

Prices, discounts, shipping, currency, and taxes shown at checkout control the order.

Payment methods

Use the payment option presented in checkout for your order. Do not send payment details through chat, email, or any channel outside the checkout flow.

A payment may be declined or reviewed because of card issuer checks, regional requirements, fraud screening, or incomplete billing details.

Authorization and order confirmation

Submitting checkout does not by itself mean payment is final. Payment completion must be confirmed by verified server-side events from the payment provider or by another approved server-side confirmation process.

Cuerzo may hold, cancel, or review an order if payment is not authorized, if the payment provider reports a risk signal, if billing details cannot be verified, or if the order appears inconsistent with normal customer behavior.

  • Order received means the order request was created.
  • Payment pending means payment has not been fully confirmed.
  • Payment paid or confirmed means server-side payment verification has succeeded.

Prices, discounts, and currency

Prices, discounts, shipping fees, and taxes are reviewed at checkout. Product pages, cart previews, promotions, and marketing messages may change before checkout is completed.

If an obvious pricing, currency, tax, inventory, or discount error occurs, Cuerzo may cancel the order and contact the customer with the corrected information.

Payment security

Cuerzo does not need to store full card numbers on its own storefront systems when using third-party payment providers. Payment details are handled through the payment provider's secure checkout and tokenized processes.

Never send card numbers, payment account passwords, bank passwords, one-time codes, or wallet login details to customer service. Support may ask for your order number and billing email, but not sensitive payment credentials.

Failed, duplicate, or disputed payments

If a payment fails or appears duplicated, contact customer service through online chat or [email protected] with your order number, billing email, time of payment attempt, and the last four digits of the card if relevant. Do not send full card numbers.

Chargebacks, payment disputes, and suspected fraud may pause order fulfillment until the issue is reviewed with the provider.
